GplusE project partners held their 4th review meeting at Centre L’Ilon in Namur, Belgium, on 15th – 16th March 2017. Previous meetings were held in Dublin, Rome and London. The event was jointly hosted by Frédéric Dehareng (CRA-W) and Nicolas Gengler (Univeristé de Liege), who are both based in nearby Gembloux.
The meeting was well attended with 29 participants from across the project. Presentations were delivered on each of the nine GplusE work packages, and the University of Missouri delivered its presentation via Skype. The meeting allowed partners valuable time to discuss progress and create plans for future joint work over the next 12 months.
GplusE is currently in month 39 of a 60-months project and positive results are being produced from research conducted to date.
The Project Management Board also met during the meeting to make strategic choices for the project over th
e next six months and to oversee decisions on publications, as research articles are beginning to arise from GplusE research.
On the second day the partners were joined by the European Commission Project Officer, Razvan Anistoroaei,
who met with participants and provided general and policy considerations from the EC perspective.
